Planning and organizing Shabbat dinners at Hillel 818 have been one of my favorite parts of my first semester of college. One of my favorite parts about being a Shabbat intern has been being able to get to know other Hillel students better. I finally got to meet all the other interns at our first in-person intern meeting, and it was so great to connect with everyone! Seeing everyone at each other's events has really helped build on that connection. So far, my favorite Shabbats we've hosted this past semester have been our Halloween and Birthday Shabbats! At Birthday Shabbat, I got to celebrate my birthday with the other Hillel students with cake, games, and latkes!
