I am so excited to be joining the Hillel 818 staff as the Israel Fellow. Originally from Azerbaijan, I made Aliyah to Israel 6 years ago and have lived most recently in Tel Aviv. One interesting fact about me that you probably would like to know is that I speak 4 languages - so if you know either Russian, Hebrew or Azeri - feel free to start a conversation in these languages!
I am so excited to call the Valley my new home. I just earned my Bachelor of Special Education from Kibbutzim College of Education. I spent the last year working as the Social Instructor at Gvanim Association, helping students with disabilities to develop skills for independent life and full realization.
In my free time, I love to read books, watch interesting shows (I actually have a bucket list of tv shows and films to see), walk around and hike. I also like to bake healthy desserts and do yoga (feel free to join me if you like it too)!
I am looking forward to meeting many different and wonderful people, each of whom I am confident will be able to teach me something new, and I hope that my experience will be able to help them in their personal journey.
