The new building has been the looming topic and talk all over Hillel this semester. In the latter part of the Spring semester, I was able to see mock-ups of the new building and I was filled with excitement! And recently, Matt showed me the new carpet that will be in the Beit Midrash, student lounge, and staff offices. I’m excited because the new building looks so attractive and spacious! It has more inviting and refined demeanor, and I’m sure the new building will bring in plenty of new students that we wouldn’t have been able to reach with our old building. The new building signifies a new direction of Hillel, which to me as a student, is extremely compelling. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to help make this new building possible. On behalf of the students of Hillel 818 - we can’t wait!
