What to Expect at Welcome Week!

Fall semester starts for our students next week! That means Hillel 818 is back with in-person programming! You can find us on campus tabling and at one of our Welcome Week events listed below!

All of our in-person events are outside and are for current Hillel 818 students between the ages 18 and 25. You must show proof of vaccination or a recent COVID test for our in-person events. Please review our COVID safety protocol and community guidelines before you attend our events.

Happy Hour

Wednesday, September 1 from 5pm-6:30pm at Hand Brewed Beer (9771 Variel Ave., Chatsworth)

Grab a drink and some food to nosh on with Hillel 818! It's also a great time to meet our new Israel Fellow, Diana, in person! Meet us at Hand Brewed Beer at 5pm! This event is for all of our current Hillel 818 students, but you have to be 21 years or older to get alcohol. First drink on us! What better way to reunite with old friends and start off the school year than over drinks and yummy appetizers?

Come to Hillel 818 for an evening of games, BBQ, and schmoozing! We'll have booths ran by different Jewish groups run by students who can help you get involved! Interested in going on our Birthright Israel trip this January? There's a booth for that! Jewish Greek life? There will be booths for that! So come on by!

Welcome Back Shabbat
