December Events Recap

We closed out the semester at Hillel 818 by making memories, celebrating community, and setting the tone for an exciting Spring 2026 ahead.

Giving Tuesday Event - Community Dinner

As part of Giving Tuesday, Hillel 818 brought our community together for a meaningful Community Dinner rooted in generosity and connection. Students, family members, and friends of Hillel gathered around the table to share a meal and support the programs that make Jewish life on campus thrive.

Students were invited to attend at no cost, while guests were encouraged to give at a level meaningful to them in support of Hillel 818. More than just dinner, the evening was a celebration of community and shared purpose.

Slime with Sadie!

Slime with Sadie was a fun and creative way for students to take a break before finals and unwind together. Led by Sadie, one of our Springboard Fellows, the event gave students the chance to get hands-on, de-stress, and make their own slime to take home.

Final Fancy Shabbat

Final Fancy Shabbat was a festive and meaningful way to close out the semester together. Students gathered for a special Shabbat dinner featuring signature drinks, a delicious Chinese buffet, and a photo booth to capture the memories. The evening celebrated the traditions of Shabbat while showcasing the joy, community, and energy of Hillel 818, giving students the perfect send-off before wrapping up the semester.
