September Events Recap
We’ve already hosted 20+ programs this school year and we’re just getting started! Here are a few highlights:
Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is a 10-week conversational seminar where students explore big, meaningful ideas through the lens of pluralistic Judaism. This semester, 26 students are participating across two cohorts: JLF 1.0, Life’s Big Questions, and JLF 2.0, Wisdom and Wellness.
At the beginning of the month, we co-hosted a special Shabbat with Matadors Against Antisemitism, CSUN’s faculty group for Jewish professors. Students and faculty had the chance to connect, share stories, and learn more about the university’s resources for addressing antisemitism.
Taste of Awe, the launch event for our new young-professionals community Next Dor, was a wonderful success! The evening featured Rosh Hashanah, inspired drinks and bites and was hosted in collaboration with Moishe House Sherman Oaks and NuRoots.
