Family Shabbat
Last Friday’s Family Shabbat was such a special evening. Seeing our students gathered around the Shabbos table with their parents, siblings, and loved ones reminded us how meaningful it is to share these moments together as a community. There’s something powerful about watching the Hillel space fill not only with students, but with the people who support them from home. It was beautiful to see generations connecting over candle lighting, great food, laughter, and conversation. Moments like these remind us that Hillel isn’t just a place students come to for programs—it’s a place where relationships are built and where community truly feels like family.
Meeting all of the families and friends who came out made me feel even more connected to our students and the lives they lead beyond campus. Hearing stories, putting faces to the people they talk about, and seeing the pride families have in their students made the night incredibly meaningful. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so warm and memorable.
