October Events Recap

October was a busy month at Hillel 818, and here are just a few of our highlights.

We kicked things off with Café Ivrit, where our Israel Fellow Raz led interactive Hebrew-learning sessions that helped students build practical language skills while connecting to Israeli culture in a fun, welcoming environment.

Later in the month, Springboard Fellow Sadie hosted a reflective and creative Paint & Sip program, inviting students to explore the week’s Torah portion through watercolor art and self-expression.

We also rolled out a deliciously hands-on Sushi Making night with Springboard Fellow Abbie, who brought in a professional sushi chef to teach students how to craft their own signature rolls — a definite fan favorite. Each event brought students together in meaningful ways, making October one of our most vibrant months yet at Hillel 818.
