Welcome Back to 818!

The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway, and Hillel 818 kicked things off with a Welcome Week full of food, friends, creativity, and plenty of Jewish joy.

Throughout the week, students had so many opportunities to meet the Hillel 818 team and each other. Popsicles on campus to cool off and back at Hillel 818, students got creative at our Mezuzah Making event and gathered around the table for a delicious Welcome Back Pasta Dinner.

And, of course, we kicked off the first Friday of the semester with Welcome Back Shabbat, bringing students together to slow down, share a meal, and celebrate the beginning of a new year together.

We are so excited for everything this year has in store. From Shabbat dinners and holiday celebrations to leadership opportunities, Jewish learning, social events, and everything in between, we can't wait to make 2026–2027 our best year yet.
